^ AIR CONDITIONING - REVISED REFRIGERANT CHARGE


FORD: 1988 TEMPO

LINCOLN-MERCURY: 1988 TOPAZ

ISSUE: The A/C system orifice tube color and diameter is incorrect as published in the 1988 Car Shop Manual, Volume C, Section 36-32-32. In addition, the refrigerant charge has been revised.

ACTION: If service is required, the orifice tube color is ORANGE and the correct diameter is 0.057 inch. The new refrigerant charge is 36 oz., plus 0 oz., minus 1 oz. Please make these changes in your 1988 Car Shop Manual.
