LABOR ALLOWANCE

Replace the Exhaust System Toeboard Catalyst and Electronic Engine Control Processor, Modify the Engine Emissions Controls Systems, Attach Vehicle Emissions Control Information (VECI) and Authorized Modifications Decals, Provide State of California Vehicle Emission Recall - Proof of Correction Certificate, Prepare Removed Catalysts and Processors for Return. REFER TO THE APPROPRIATE KIT CODE. (Time included for catalyst return.)

PARTS RETURN

PROCESSORS

An FPS-700 Parts Disposition Tag will be issued to recall the removed electronic engine control processors. Return of processors with the FPS-700 tag attached must be shipped prepaid freight to the address on the reverse side of the tag.

Claim for prepaid freight charges on Form 1863 (Refer to Section 6.1, page 33, of the Warranty and Policy Manual).

Claim for processor core credit in the MISC box on Form 1864 (Insert $100.00 for the credit).


Refer to the part return shipping procedure in Section 7.0, pages 10 and 11, of the Warranty and Policy Manual.

CATALYSTS

Removed catalysts must be returned. Prepare and return the removed catalysts by removing excess weight. Cut and discard pipes/ flanges as close to the catalyst shell as practical.

An FPS-700 Parts Disposition Tag will be issued to recall the removed catalysts. Return of removed catalysts with the FPS-700 tag attached must be shipped prepaid freight via United Parcel Service (UPS) to the address on the reverse side of the tag.

Claim for prepaid freight charges on Form 1863 (Refer to Section 6.1, page 33, of the Warranty and Policy Manual).

ANY QUESTIONS REGARDING THE HANDLING OF SPECIAL SITUATIONS REGARDING REMOVED CATALYSTS SHOULD BE RESOLVED WITH YOUR SERVICE ZONE MANAGER.

EXCESS STOCK RETURN

Excess stock returned for credit must have been purchased from Ford Parts and Service Division in accordance with Policy Procedure Bulletin 4000.
