System Outputs

When the ECA receives an input signal that indicates a change in one or more of the operating conditions, the change(s) are evaluated to determine whether or not an output signal should be provided to control one of the following:
1. Air/fuel ratio.
2. Engine idle speed.
3. EGR/CANP ON/OFF.
4. Fuel pump ON/OFF.
5. A/C compressor ON/OFF.
6. Engine cooling fan ON/OFF.
7. Spark output signal.
To control these conditions, system outputs are applied to the following:
1. EGR shut-off solenoid, remote canister purge valve, backpressure variable transducer (BVT and EGR valve control.
2. A/C and fan controller module.
3. TFI-IV ignition module.
4. Throttle air bypass valve (idle control solenoid).
5. Four fuel injectors.
6. Fuel pump relay.
