Volt Meter Gauge: Description and Operation

The volts gauge is called up by using the GAUGES button. The relative system voltage is displayed by the number of bars lit on the multigauge bar graph. The battery symbol designates this gauge and H (high), L (low) and NORM (normal) scale markers appear. If the alternator is not charging or the voltage is above or below the normal operating range, the volts gauge will automatically be displayed. The battery symbol will flash. A tone (about 1.5 seconds on, and 3.5 seconds quiet) will alert the driver.
