5. Customer Information
Inform the customer that the condition is not a durability concern that may cause the engine to stop running with further usage of the vehicle. Explain that a new engine assembly will be ordered and you will notify the customer upon receiving the replacement engine in approximately 3-5 weeks.
A $100.00 deductible is required on vehicles beyond the 12/12 warranty for powertrain coverage.
6. Labor Time Schedule - Engine Assembly
Engines will be shipped complete less the normal components such as the thermactor pump, alternator, belts, pulleys, starter, etc. Operation and time schedules listed are only intended for this program. Follow procedures outlined in the 1987 Car Shop Manual.

7. Special Instructions
Important: The engine code label should be installed or marked at the engine plant. Verify that the calibration code number is the same as the number on the removed engine.
