Windshield Wiper/Washer
WASHER PUMP DOES NOT WORK1. Check for low fluid level and for damaged hoses. Check Circuit Breaker 2 by operating wipers.
2. Disconnect plug at bottom of washer reservoir. Check for voltage on PK/Y wire, and for ground on BK wire with washer switch closed.
3. Replace motor, seal, and impeller assembly, if bad.
4. Test Washer Pump operation. Connect BK/W wire terminal of the pump motor to battery power using jumper.
NO WIPERS
1. Check Circuit Breaker 2
2. With Ignition in RUN, Check for power at Wiper Motor between DG and ground, Y/R and DB/O (wiper switch in LO) and Y/R and W wires (wiper switch in HI).
3. Check continuity through Wiper Motor Switch with test lamp or ohmmeter.
4. Turn ingition switch to RUN. Check for power at DG and BLK wires at wiper washer control.
5. Disconnect and remove wiper switch. Check continunity through wiper switch with test lamp ohmmeter.
WIPERS RUN TOO SLOWLY
1. Check for mechanical binding.
2. Perform Wiper Motor Current Drain Depressed Park test.
WIPER DOES NOT PARK
1. Check Wiper Motor Switch operation.
2. Perform Parking Test.
