Ignition Lock Replace

Fig. 1 Ignition lock cylinder removal:





1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Rotate ignition switch to the RUN position, then working through steering column lower shroud, Fig. 1, depress lock cylinder retaining pin with suitable {1-8} inch drill.
3. Pull ignition lock cylinder from housing.
4. Install replacement lock cylinder in housing, then rotate ignition switch through travel.
5. Install battery ground cable, then ensure ignition lock operates properly.
