Removal

Rear Drum Brakes:





DISASSEMBLY
1. Raise vehicle until tire clears floor, and remove wheel from hub and drum.
2. Remove grease cap from hub, taking care not to damage cap. Remove cotter pin, nut retainer, adjusting nut, and keyed flat washer from spindle.
3. Pull hub and drum assembly off spindle being careful not to drop outer bearing assembly.
4. Remove outer bearing assembly.
5. Using Seal Remover TOOL-1175-AC or equivalent, remove and discard grease seal. Remove inner bearing assembly from hub.
