Fuel Rail: Description and Operation

The fuel supply manifold assembly delivers high pressure fuel from the vehicle fuel supply line to the fuel injectors. This assembly consists of a single preformed tube or stamping with four injector connectors for each injector, a mounting flange to the fuel pressure regulator and mounting attachments which locate the fuel manifold assembly and provide fuel injector retention.
