Timing Belt Tensioner: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable and remove drive belts.
2. Remove water pump pulley, timing belt cover, crankshaft damper and pulley and timing belt as outlined under ``Timing Belt, Replace.''
3. Remove timing belt tensioner adjustment and spring retaining bolts, then the timing belt tensioner.
4. Reverse procedure to install, installing bolts finger tight.
