Radiator Cooling Fan Motor: Description and Operation

DESCRIPTION
The electric cooling fan works in conjunction with the cooling fan control module (A/C only) and temperature switch to maintain the maximum coolant operating temperature in a range of 221°F to 193°F.

CAUTION: The electric cooling fan is wired to operate with the ignition switch on or off. The fan may energize at any time when the coolant temperature exceeds 221°F or the coolant temperature switch is grounded.
