Suspension Control Module: Service and Repair

1987 Sedan Models
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove righthand luggage compartment side trim panel.
3. Disconnect module wiring connector by pushing inward on retainer and pulling up.
4. Remove two attaching bolts.
5. Remove module.
6. Remove U-nuts from module.
7. Reverse procedure to install. Torque attaching bolts to 6---13 ft. lbs.



1987 Station Wagon Models
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove righthand rear side trim panel (spare tire cover).
3. Disconnect module wiring connector by pushing inward on connector retainer (back side of connector) and pulling downward.
4. Remove two attaching bolts.
5. Remove module.
6. Reverse procedure to install. Torque attaching bolts to 6---13 ft. lbs.
