Engine - Intermittent No Start Condition

ISSUE: An intermittent no-start condition may be caused by corrosion inside the EEC Power Relay. If during underhood service, the 12A581 harness is pulled on for any reason, it may cause the EEC Power Relay to pull out of the mounting bracket leaving it unprotected from water splash.

ACTION: To correct this, install a new EEC Power Relay and modify the position of the EEC Power Relay (brown) and the wide open throttle relay (black) by reversing the locations of the relays in the mounting bracket, Figure 6.
