Oil Pump: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. With engine removed from vehicle, remove accessory drive belts.
3. Drain engine oil and remove oil pan.
4. Remove crankshaft pulley, front timing belt, front timing belt tensioner and crankshaft sprocket.
5. Remove bolts securing oil pump to crankcase, then the oil pump.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
