Test 5, Inertia Switch Wiring Check

1. Turn ignition switch to run and, using test light, check for battery voltage at both inertia switch wires, Fig. 6.
2. If test light illuminates at both wires, proceed to TEST 6.
3. If test light does not illuminate at either wire, check for open in circuit 361,Fig. 7.
4. If test light illuminates only at one wire, replace inertia switch, then repeat TEST 1 to verify operation of fuel pumps.
