Suspension Control Module: Service and Repair

1986 Crown Victoria & Grand Marquis
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove righthand luggage compartment side trim panel.
3. Disconnect module electrical connector by pushing in on retainer and pulling upward.
4. Remove two attaching bolts.
5. Remove module.
6. Remove U-nuts from module.
7. Reverse procedure to install. Torque module attaching bolts to 6---13 ft. lbs.
