Vehicles equipped with air conditioning and automatic transmission have their A/C belts driven off the water pump pulley, as shown in Figure 20.

Vehicles equipped with a manual transmission have their A/C belts driven off the crankshaft pulley, as shown in Figure 21.
A running change is in process at the vehicle assembly plant to assemble all manual transmission vehicles with the belts driven off the water pump.
