Feedback Controlled Main System Diaphragm

Fig. 8--Drill a 3/32 inch hole through lead sealing disc on diaphragm adjustment screw, then pry disc off using a suitable punch. Adjust as necessary by turning adjustment screw until top of screw is .170 - .190 inch below top of air horn adjustment screw boss. On carburetors with an ``S'' stamped on top of air horn, adjust to .240 - .260 inch. Install a new lead sealing disc and secure by staking with a suitable punch. After completing adjustment, apply a maximum vacuum of 10 inches Hg and ensure diaphragm does not leak.
