The attached chart should be substituted in the 1984 Shop Manual, Section 15-1.

3.8L engine calibration 4-14B (Post Job 1) was introduced for the LTD/Marquis vehicles to satisfy production requirements. The speed setting procedures for

1983 3.8L Canadian (2150-2V) apply to the above calibration.

Refer to the 1984 Engine Diagnostics Manual Section 4 3.8L Passenger - Canada for curb idle, fast idle and A/C on speed settings. Replace the current initial timing procedure with the revised timing procedure included in this TSB.
