6.Back Belt Moulding Replacement

Removal

1. Cover deck lid of vehicle to protect surfaces.
2. Using a flat bladed tool or moulding pry tool, remove back belt mouldings by pulling push-in type retainer out of the barrel nut retainers (7 places).
3. Clean out remaining sealer from retainers and/or replace any damaged retainers.

Installation

1. After replacing damaged retainers, apply a daub of sealer to each barrel nut retainer.
2. Select back belt moulding and position the (7) retainers into each barrel nut location and apply pressure at each retainer location to seat snugly (Figure 7).
3. Remove all protective covers.
