Removal

1. Cover deck lid and quarter panels of vehicle to protect painted surfaces.
2. Remove "C" pillar trim. Reference "C" pillar trim replacement (Figure 6).
3. Remove retaining screw at "C" pillar, also open trunk and remove M4 hex nut from positive retainer (1 per side) (Figure 6).
4. Using a moulding pry tool, remove mouldings by pulling push-in type retainers out of the barrel nut retainers (3 per side).
5. Slide forward and out to remove from retainer.
6. Clean out remaining sealer from retainers and replace any damaged retainers.

Installation

1. After replacing damaged retainers, apply a daub of sealer to each barrel nut retainer.
2. Slide over retainer and push back to tab.
3. Select correct quarter moulding and position the (3) retainers to each barrel nut location and apply pressure at each retainer location to seat retainers snugly (Figure 6).
4. Secure with 8-18x3/8 screw (1 per side) and secure positive M4 retainer with M4 supplied by Ford sealer nut (1 per side) (Figure 6).
5. Remove all protective covers.
