Test 1, Run Circuit

Installing ignition diagnostic test adapter:

Spark tester:

1. Disconnect ignition module three wire connector and install ignition diagnostic test adapter into wiring circuit, Fig. 2.
2. Connect spark tester, Fig. 3, between ignition coil and ground.
3. Turn ignition ``On,'' then while observing spark tester, touch diagnostic test lead to battery positive terminal. Spark should occur every time lead touches battery.
4. If spark occurs, circuit is satisfactory. If not, proceed to test 2.
