Openings at the vehicle dash panel or toe-board area may result in a customer concern where normal engine noise is transmitted into the passenger compartment.

Before any attempt is made for engine service, inspect for source of noise entry such as improper installation of the dash absorber, mispositioned dash grommets, mispositioned steering column boot seal or improper application of sealer at the dash panel.
