EEC IV - SERVICE CODE 67 AFTER SERVICE PROCESSOR REPLACEMENT - 2.3L EFI TURBO

When either of the two service replacement processors listed below have been installed, a service code 67 will be displayed in the "Key-On Engine-Off" portion of the EEC IV self-test procedure. This code should be considered normal - NO service action required.

E3PZ-12A650-F (TSB 84-4-20, cold driveaway)

E3PZ-12A650-G (Driveline clunk with Tip-in/Tip-out throttle movement.

NOTE: The E3PZ-12A650-G processor will have a label attached to the outer housing and will state as follows: "This 1983-1/2 service module was designed to be used with a neutral drive input and when installed on a 1983-1/2 2.3L Turbo vehicle, a service code 67 will occur. This is considered normal - no service action is required."
