DESCRIPTION

These valves are used to direct air pump output to the exhaust manifold or downstream to the catalyst system depending on the engine control modes.

Three types of valves are used, the standard air control valve, Fig. 75, the air control/shut off valve with orifice, Fig. 76, and the air control/shut off valve, Fig. 77.
