Poor Performance During Wide Open Throttle Acceleration W/Air Conditioning On

Procedure:

Vehicles which exhibit poor performance with A/C operating on wide open throttle accelerations can be serviced in the following manner:

1. Remove the air cleaner.

2. Remove the two (2), forward to the vehicle, carburetor hold down nuts.

3. Install WOT A/C cut-out switch E2FZ-9F629-A over the two (2) carburetor hold down studs.

4. Install the two carburetor and A/C cut-out switch hold down nuts and torque to 16-20 Nm (12-15 ft.lb.).

5. Remove wiring harness jumper loop and connect WOT A/C cut-out switch wire in its place.

WOT A/C Cut-off Switch Adjustment:

6. The WOT A/C cut-out switch to carburetor fast idle lever must be adjusted per figure.

7. Install air cleaner.
