LEAKS - WATER - ROOF TO WINDSHIELD PILLAR JOINT ("A" PILLAR)

If water leaks into the vehicle between the roof panel and the windshield pillar joint ("A" pillar) and drips into the passenger compartment from above the windshield, it can be caused by inadequate sealer in the roof to "A" pillar joint.

1. Remove the bright "A" pillar drip moulding (see appropriate Shop Manual, Page No. 47-09-24, for instructions.)

2. Seal the edge of the roof to "A" pillar joint with D6AZ-19562-A sealer (Figure 2).

3. Replace the bright drip moulding (see Shop Manual for instructions).
4. Water test the vehicle.
