Test 4, Ignition Coil Secondary Resistance

Coil Tests:

Procedure
1. Disconnect and inspect ignition coil electrical connector.
2. Using a suitable ohmmeter, measure resistance between coil negative terminal and high tension lead terminal.
3. If resistance is between 8,000---11,500 ohms, coil is satisfactory. If not between limits, replace coil.
