PARTS REQUIREMENTS





An initial supply of parts will be one time direct shipped to you for arrival at your dealership in June, 1982. Do not order recall parts from Newark Export Supply. Order all requirements directly from Wixom using the mailing address contained in this letter. Use only the blower motor resistor assembly listed in the accompanying illustration for replacement on vehicles involved in this recall.

SERVICE STOCK

You are requested to purge and tag all service stock with Part Number E1FZ-19A706-A using defective parts tag Form 800-103. The Form should be labeled "Recall 439 - Hold for Disposition Instructions". Notify your supervising Ford location of the quantities involved and request disposition instructions.

LABOR ALLOWANCES

Replace A/C blower motor
resistor assembly 0.3 Hr. Insert in Box "B" of Form 1864

Administrative Allowance 0.1 Hr.

The 0.1 hour administrative allowance must be added to the replacement time before inserting the total time in Box "B".

Please note that there should not be any inspections in this recall. All units are to have the blower motor resistor assembly replaced, and all claims are to have the labor time shown in Box "B".

REPORTING/REIMBURSEMENT OF COMPLETIONS

Upon completion of the required service, return the second copy of the Form 1864 completely filled out and signed by authorized dealer personnel. Only the Form 1864 will be accepted for reimbursement on this program. It is important that all claims be filed for all completed units so that our records will show completion. Any problem encountered with this recall should be discussed with your Ford supervising location or this office.
