Rear

1. Raise rear of vehicle and support at frame. Support rear axle with a suitable jack.
2. Disconnect shock absorbers at lower mountings.
3. Disconnect brake line from rear brake hose and remove hose to bracket clip.
4. Lower axle to remove springs. On some models, it may be necessary to disconnect the righthand parking brake cable from righthand upper arm retainer before lowering axle.
5. Reverse procedure to install. Install an insulator between upper seat and spring, if necessary.
