Inspection





1. Open hood. Locate the temperature vacuum switch (TVS) on the air cleaner. (Refer to Illustration).
2. Determine the color of the switch. If it is red, proceed no further. If it is not red, continue with the following repair procedure.

Repair

1. Remove the air cleaner top cover, the temperature vacuum switch retaining clip and vacuum hoses.
2. Install a new switch (part number D7FZ-9A995-A). Reinstall the retainer clip and vacuum hoses.
3. Replace the air cleaner top cover and close hood.
