Input Shaft: Service and Repair

REPLACE
1. Remove needle bearings from bore of input shaft.

Input Shaft Bearing Removal. RAD Four Speed Transmission:

2. Remove input shaft bearing snap ring and press being from shaft.
3. Press new bearing onto shaft with snap ring groove facing front of shaft and install new snap ring.
4. Lightly coat bore of input shaft with grease and install needle bearings. A heavy coat of grease will plug bearing lubrication holes.
