Reason for change

Complaint:
Noise complaint in rear window weatherstrip area (B-pillar seal) with the possibility of a jammed weatherstrip when raising window using convenience closing.

Cause:
Vario roof control (soft-top control unit) with software release 11/12.00 w/o delayed window raising.

Remedy:
For the vehicle affected, flash the soft-top control unit with latest software (XENTRY).

Current software actuates side windows with delay.

Note:
Affected vehicle for VIN end number 1F021104 to 1F027045.
