The vehicle and the rear spoiler should have the same temperature (ambient temperature) when installing to prevent later distortion from various thermal expansion.
The area on the trunk lid to be glued must be free of dust and grease. For cleaning, use mixture of IPA (Isopropanol alcohol) and water with a ratio of 50 : 50.
After cleaning maintain a shot flash-off time of at least 15 seconds.





1 Install rear spoiler (1) on trunk lid (2), position correctly and align.
The rear spoiler (1) should be positioned on the edge of the trunk lid (2) and then slide toward front until the stop can be felt clearly (b). The spoiler should have a uniform gap around the trunk lid (2).
The maximum gap depth should not exceed more than 3 mm!





2 Clean trunk lid (2) in bonding area with a mixture of ISA (isopropanol alcohol) and water mixed 50 : 50.
After cleaning maintain a shot flash-off time of at least 15 seconds.
The trunk lid (2) must be clean and dry.





3 Detach protective foil (4) from adhesive tape on rear spoiler (1) approx. 10 cm in both direction starting at center





4 Install rear spoiler (1) at center of trunk lid (2) and fix in place, align according to brake lamps (3) and observe uniform distance on right and left in relation to brake lamp (3).
Check position of rear spoiler (1)!





5 Glue rear spoiler (1) from center toward outside starting at top. Remove protective foil (4) in increments of 10 - 15 cm and firmly press on rear spoiler (1).





6 Glue rear spoiler (1) from center toward outside starting at top. Remove protective foil (4) in increments of 10 - 15 cm and firmly press on rear spoiler (1).





7 Firmly press rear spoiler (1) to trunk lid (2) from inside toward outside with clean cotton rag.
Remove air bubbles from adhesive tape.
The maximum adhesive force is reached after approx. 72 hours at 20 °C!
Avoid any contact with moisture (e.g. rain, fog, carwash) within the first 24 hours.
Prevent any mechanical stress.





8 Check whether rear spoiler (1) is bonded correctly!
