N69/2 Right door control unit

Location
The right door control unit is located on the rear door module of the door trim.

Task
The right door control unit has the following tasks:
^ Reading in of signals
^ Evaluation of input factors
^ Actuation of components

Reading in of signals
The input factors are read in via the following connections:
^ Direct line
^ Right door LIN (LIN B6)
^ Interior CAN (CAN B)

Direct line
The signals from the following components are read via direct lines:
- Right door lock rotary tumbler switch (A85/1s1)
- Right front power window motor Hall sensor (M10/4)
- Passenger-side power window switch (S21/2)
- Right front door central locking interior switch (S85/6):
- Open central locking switch (S85/6s1)
- Close central locking switch (S85/6s2)
- With code (275) Memory package for electrically adjustable front seats:
- Vertical inclination adjustment potentiometer (M21/2r2)
- Horizontal inclination adjustment potentiometer (M21/2r3)

Right door LIN
The signals for the following components are read in via the right door LIN:
- With code (275) Memory package for electrically adjustable front seats:
- Right seat adjustment switch group (S23):
- Right seat inclination adjustment switch (S23s2)
- Right seat fore/aft adjustment switch (S23s3)
- Right seat height adjustment switch (S23s4)
- Right backrest adjustment switch (S23s5)
- Right memory function switch (S23s6)
- Right memory switch 1 (S23s7)
- Right memory switch 2 (S23s8)
- Right memory switch 3 (S23s9)

Interior CAN
The signals are read in by the right door control unit via the interior CAN. The functions that use these signals are described in the individual function descriptions (see block diagram or function schematic).

Evaluation of input factors
The input factors that have been read in are evaluated by the integrated microprocessor and the relevant components are then actuated.

Components are actuated with the following connection:

The right front door control unit supplies the connected control elements with c. 58d.

- Right door central locking motor A85/1m1
- Right front power window motor
- Right door additional door lock actuator motor )A85/1m4 (with code (885) Extended theft protection)

With code (877) Ambiance illumination:
- Right door handle ambiance illumination (E43/39)
- Front trim piece ambiance illumination, right door (E43/41)
- Rear trim piece ambiance illumination, right door (E43/43)
- Right outside mirror (M21/2):
- Right outside mirror ambient lamp (M21/2e1) (with code (876) Interior lights package)
- Right blind spot assist warning lamp (M21/2e2) (with code (234) Blind spot assist or code (237) Active blind spot assist)
- Mirror dimming (M21/2h1) (Right-hand drive vehicle with code (249) Automatically dimming inside rearview mirror and outside mirror)
- Vertical inclination adjustment actuator motor (M21/2m1)
