Beanstandung:
Breakage of mounting pin for partition wall/remaining luggage compartment lock (Figure 1) or irregular engagement of the trunk luggage cover.

Ursache:
Threaded pin on longitudinal member of bodyshell installed in slightly offset position in production.

The trunk partition bracket (Figure 2) therefore fits poorly.

Note:
Cleanpoint in production is as of VIN WDD 17244481F036452.

Abhilfe:
Check left and right trunk partition brackets for correct installation; if necessary remove and enlarge the Y-shaped cutout (Figure 2) by approx. 2 mm using a suitable file.

The bracket must lie snugly on the longitudinal member trim (Figure 3).

Replace remaining luggage compartment partition.

When the bracket is installed correctly the trunk partition engages evenly on the left and right sides.
