Removal and Replacement

AZ82.20-P-0001-01W Install Illuminated Door Sill





Installation is shown on the right side of vehicle; installation on the left side of vehicle is performed in the same manner.
1 Clean contact surface of door sill in hatched area (A).





2 Detach protective foil (4) at right illuminated door sill molding (E17/36).





3 Hook right illuminated door sill molding (E17/36) into longitudinal member panel (13), align and clip into place.
When installing the right illuminated door sill molding (E17/36), make sure that the electrical line (6) is not twisted or pinched.
4 Route electrical line (6) over longitudinal member and fix in place using felt tape (7) as shown.
Plug (5.2) is connected to connector of wiring harness for illuminated door sill moldings at a later time.
