AN82.20-P-0001-04W Install Illuminated Door Sill





Installation is shown on the right side of vehicle, installation on the left side of vehicle is performed in the same manner.
1 Clean contact surface of door sill in hatched area (A).





2 Detach protective foil (4) from right illuminated door sill molding (E17/36).





3 Hook right illuminated door sill molding (E17/36) into longitudinal member panel (13), align and then clip permanently into place.
When installing the right illuminated door sill molding (E17/36) make sure that the electrical line (6) is not twisted or pinched.
4 Route electrical line (6) over the longitudinal member and fasten in place, as shown using felt tape (7).
The plug (5.2) will be connected at a later stage with the coupling of the wiring harness for the illuminated door sill molding.
