Mounting wedge





1 Carefully unclip cover (5) using assembly wedge and place to one side with electrical lines still connected.
The cover (5) is attached with two clips (4) in the front section.





2 Pull off protective foil (7) from GPS antenna (A2/23) and stick GPS antenna (A2/23) onto mount on instrument panel.
The installation position of the GPS antenna (A2/23) is indicated by guides.
3 Route Global Positioning System (GPS) antenna wiring harness (6) through opening (arrow) and route into upper section of instrument panel, as shown.





4 Route GPS antenna wiring harness (6), as shown, into the front passenger footwell.
5 Clip holder (6.1) of GPS antenna wiring harness (6) into air duct (7).
6 Fasten GPS antenna wiring harness (6) using cable ties to vehicle wiring harness.
The white 1-pin connector (6.2) of the GPS antenna wiring harness (6) is connected at a later stage to the navigation module's bracket.





7 Install cover (5).
The cover (5) is attached with two clips (4) in the front section.
