DANGER: Risk of explosion caused by oxyhydrogen gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns caused by swallowing battery acid. Risk of injury caused by burns to skin and eyes from battery acid or when handling damaged lead-acid batteries

Notes on battery

No fire, sparks, open flames or smoking. Wear acid-resistant gloves, clothing and glasses. Only pour battery acid into suitable and appropriately marked containers.

Component Identification:






1.1 Lift cargo area floor paneling, remove bolt of ground line (3) of on-board electrical system battery (G1) on vehicle longitudinal member and put down ground line (3).
To detach ground line (3).
Installation: Observe tightening torque.

1.2 Loosen nut on ground line (2) and remove ground line (2) from negative terminal of on-board electrical system battery (G1).
To remove on-board electrical system battery (G1).
Installation: Pay attention to tight seating of ground line (2) otherwise damage can occur to the negative terminal of the on-board electrical system battery (G1) and electrical system.

2. Connect in reverse order.
