Wiper Arm Test And Adjustment Values:

The driver-side wiper arm or the passenger side wiper arm, in the lower section of the wipe pattern, has to be adjusted at a distance of approx. 100 mm (driver-side wiper arm) or approx. 70 mm (passenger side wiper arm) to the water collector.

The driver-side wiper arm or the passenger side wiper arm is always adjusted in the lower section of the wipe pattern.

1 Take adjuster levers (Z4) from the adjustment tool set.

2 Install angle measuring device (A) with adapter on wiper arm to be adjusted.
3 Lower wiper arm until all three contact points of the base of the angle measuring device (A) touch the windshield.
4 Position adjuster lever (Z4) as far away from each other as possible.

The wiper arm is twisted with the aid of the adjuster lever (Z4), which was positioned next to the angle measuring device (A). The second adjuster lever (Z4) is used as a counterholder.







5 Push adjuster lever (Z4) into the required direction, until the angle of incidence of the wiper arm is in the tolerance range.

On right-hand drive vehicles, the sign of the corresponding test and adjustment values has to be changed.

6 Remove adjuster lever (Z4) from wiper arm.
7 Detach angle measuring device (A) with adapter adjusted wiper arm.
