AR41.10-P-0086-01SZ Read Out Propeller Shaft Inclination Angles From Memory; Correct If Necessary
The measurement readiness for angle 1 which is no longer measured is shown in the display.
1 Press the MEMORY button once. The main menu appears.
2 Press the MEMORY button again. The memory displays the measured angle (a, b, d) and the resulting articulation angle 1 (c) and articulation angle 2 (e).
3 Record articulation angle 1 (c) e.g. +0.08° and articulation angle 2 (e) e.g. +0.45° on the data sheet.
4 Press the STEP button.
Memory screen
The measured angles (d, f, h) and the resultant inclination angle 3 (g) and inclination angle 4 (i) calculated from them are displayed in the memory.
5 Transfer articulation angle 3 (g) e.g. +0.39° and articulation angle 4 (i) e.g. -0.70° onto the data sheet.
The articulation angles are calculated from the differences in the respective measured angles.
Inclination angle (angle 1):
Transmission to front propeller shaft
Inclination angle (angle 2):
Front propeller shaft to center propeller shaft
Inclination angle (angle 3):
Center propeller shaft to rear propeller shaft
Inclination angle (angle 4):
Rear propeller shaft to rear axle differential
If an inclination angle is outside of the tolerance, it must be corrected. All articulation angle differences should be as close as possible to the center of the relevant tolerance range.
Carry out a check measurement again each time the articulation angle is corrected.
