Main menu screen:

The vehicle must be on its wheels for the measurement.

The measurement of all angles (four angles on vehicles with 2-piece propeller shaft and five for vehicles with 3-piece propeller shaft) should be conducted without any interruption. An angle that has already been measured can be measured a second time if required. To do this, with the Measurement menu displayed, press the STEP button repeatedly until the display indicates Ready to measure the relevant angle.
3 Unclip electrical lines and electrical connectors (G3/3x1, G3/4x1, G3/5x1, G3/6x1) of 02 sensors from bracket (31).
4 Detach bracket (31) and heat shield (32) from transmission.

Component Identification:

5 Clean transmission bore and surroundings (arrow).
6 Select suitable adapter for transmission bore.
7 Remove measuring sleeve socket (020e) from adapter, insert in transmission bore and fix. Do so by turning lower threaded stud (020f) to left and tightening.

Component Identification:

8 Screw measuring sleeve adapter (020g) on to measuring sleeve socket (020e) and tighten all the way to transmission by hand.

Ensure that the measuring sleeve adapter (020g) contacts the surface of the transmission exactly.

Component Identification:

9 Mount sensor mount (020c) with the two knurled bolts centrally on the sensor (020a).

Component Identification:

10 Fit sensor mount (020c) with sensor (020a) to measuring sleeve adapter (020g) by turning slightly to left/right (magnetic).
For each measurement the helical line (020b) of the sensor (020a) must point in the direction of travel, otherwise an incorrect measurement will ensue.
