Special Tools:

Component Identification:

1 Clamp front wheel hub (5) in vise.
2 Pry old radial shaft sealing ring (7) out of front wheel hub (5) using screwdriver.
Do not damage the snug fit of the radial shaft sealing ring (7) otherwise the front wheel hub (5) must be replaced.
3 Clean alignment seat of radial shaft sealing ring (7) in front wheel hub (5)!
4 Pull radial shaft sealing ring (7) using insertion tool Part 01 (01) and Part 02 (02) flush into the front wheel hub (5).
The radial shaft sealing ring (7) must not be processed using metal tools, because it contains the pulse ring of the front rpm sensor. The rubberized side E of the insertion tool Part 01 (01) must therefore face the radial shaft sealing ring (7).
If the radial shaft sealing ring (7) is not drawn-in flush with the front wheel hub (5), the front rpm sensor does not provide a signal.
