Torque converter lock-up clutch control pressure in general
Apart from the extreme states of open or closed, it is possible to operate the torque converter lockup clutch with preset slip speeds. To enable this, the torque converter lockup clutch regulating valve has to have variable control pressure applied to it.
The torque converter lock-up clutch control pressure is adapted to the respective operating condition by the EGS control unit via the torque converter lockup PWM solenoid valve (Y3/6y6) which is actuated by the EGS control unit (N15/3).
