Engine - Operations In Clean Air Line Area (Intake)

Operations in Clean Air Line Area (Intake Manifold)

Ensure that the seals, boots and lines around intake manifold are not damaged or incorrectly mounted during maintenance and repair work.

Damage can lead to the following faults:

^ Engine diagnosis warning lamp lights up (Check Engine Light - CEL)

^ Engine running complaints such as low output (loss of power), limp-home mode, blue smoke from exhaust

^ Damages to turbocharger

^ Engine damages

Damaged or deformed seals, lines or boots must always be replaced

Damaged seals can lead to engine damages due to dirt and foreign matter entry into intake.

If you receive related complaints, check for correct seating and signs of damage to seals, lines and boots When submiting warranty claims include illustrations and descriptions.

Any claims for incorrect repairs (resulting in damaged seals, lines and boots) will be rejected.
