AR01.30-P-5800-01SXI Tightening Procedure For Cylinder Head Bolts








Tightening procedure with bolt arrangement, shown on the left and right cylinder head

10 M12 bolts
11 Bolts M8

The order of tightening for the left and the right cylinder head given below must be followed in order to avoid any consequent damages.

1 Tighten bolts M12 (10) as specified in stage 1.
2 Tighten bolts M8 (11).
3 Tighten bolts M12 (10) according to Stage 2.
4 Retighten bolts M8 (11).
5 Tighten bolts M12 (10) according to Stage 3.
6 Retighten bolts M8 (11).
7 Tighten bolts M12 (10) according to Stage 4.
8 Retighten bolts M8 (11).
9 Tighten bolts M12 (10M12) according to Stage 5.
10 Retighten bolts M8 (11).

Use the reverse order to release bolts M12 (10) and bolts M8 (11).
