Component Identification:

1 Remove cover (1) of left fuse and relay box in the engine compartment.

On vehicles with engine 275 the ME SFI [ME] control unit is located in the cover.

Installation: Check seal in cover (1); replace seal if necessary.

2 Unlock plug (2) on driver-side SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1) and detach.

Component Identification:

3 Connect compression recorder (01) to starter battery circuit 30 and connect up using the adapter line (11) from the electrical connection kit at socket "7" on the plug (2).

The plug positions on the connector (2) are numbered.
