1. Open flap (1).
2. Switch on ignition (transmitter key in position "2").

The self-test of the fire extinguishing system is performed automatically..

^ When the fire extinguishing system works properly, the LED's in the emergency fresh air system/fire extinguishing system activation button (S62/41) and the fire extinguishing system switch (S62/29) come on for 10 s.The fire extinguishing system warning buzzer does not sound. The fire extinguishing system is ready for function.
^ If the fire extinguishing system is defective, the LED's in the emergency fresh air system/fire extinguishing system activation button (S62/41) and fire extinguishing system switch (S62/29) come on continuously and the fire extinguishing system warning buzzer sounds.The fire extinguishing system is not ready for function.

3. Switch off ignition.
4. Close flap (1).
