Route TV tuner wiring harness (1) along vehicle wiring harness in left rear footwell, as shown, and fix in place using cable ties.
Route TV tuner wiring harness (1) through body opening behind foam material (31) into cable duct under left rear floor covering.

Do not route the branch-off line with the blue 10-pin coupling through the body opening into the cable duct under the left rear floor covering at the same time.

It will be routed to the DVD player (A40/4) at a later time.

Remove air duct (33)
Open cable ducts (32, 34) of frame floor assembly.
Lift covers of cable ducts (32, 34) above the air ducts (35, 37).
Route TV tuner wiring harness (1) and orange line (or) in cable duct (34).
Route orange line (or) further to cable duct (36).
Route TV tuner wiring harness (1) further in the cable duct (32) and guide out of the opening (arrow D).

Lay air ducts (35, 37) above cable ducts (32, 34) of frame floor assembly and close cable ducts (32, 34) of frame floor assembly.
Install air duct (33)

Lift left front floor covering (25) until cable duct (36) in the rear area can be opened.
Open cable duct (36) in the rear area.
Expose wake-up signal/diagnosis distributor connector (X30/14) in cable duct (36).
Release contact carrier (38) of wake-up signal/diagnosis distributor connector (X30/14).
Route orange line (or) to wake-up signal/diagnosis distributor connector (X30/14) and fit in a free slot at the wake-up signal/diagnosis distributor connector (X30/14).
Lock contact carrier (38) of wake-up signal/diagnosis distributor connector (X30/14).
Close cable duct (36).
Route TV tuner wiring harness (1) from cable duct (32) under center console (39) into mounting opening of COMAND controller unit, as shown, using a pull-through device.

Route TV tuner wiring harness (1) first in the installation opening of the cup holder and from there on to the mounting opening of the COMAND controller unit.

Fix TV tuner wiring harness in place on cable duct (32) using felt tape (40).
Fold back left front floor covering (25) and left rear floor covering (26) and align.

Attach floor covering cover (27) at the rear in the air duct and clip in at the front (arrow C).
Install air duct cover (28) and screw down using screw/bolt (29).

Remove black 20-pin contact carrier (15.1) with contact cavity assignment 21 to 40 from black 40-pin coupling (15).

Install lines in the black 20-pin contact carrier (15.1) as follows:

- Contact cavity 26 = Transparent line (tr) of blue-marked branch-off line of TV tuner wiring harness (1.2)
- Contact cavity 27 = Transparent line (tr) of red-marked branch-off line of TV tuner wiring harness (1.1)
